At yet another level, the purpose of education is to groom students in noble cultural values. In the absence of this culture, knowledge itself and material prosperity can become a weapon of destruction instead of a means of blessing to humanity. Still higher than this aim is to create a thirst for greater knowledge in students, so that they discover the mysteries of Nature and the world around them. Keshav Public Senior Secondary School at Dirba (Sangrur) imparts education to students from adjoining areas and keeping all the aforesaid in view, children get modern education in an atmosphere of rich Indian culture.

At KPS, we have belt tightened our efforts and trimmed our expenses from the last fiscal year to the right direction. Change is the buzzword of the new Era and adaptation to change is the motive and need of education. This is where a school lays stress to equip the young mind to appreciate assimilates and capitalize in changing scenario. An educational institution is a bank where human resources are invested a place where national talent is transmuted for the progress of nation. This cannot be achieved by overloading the baggage of child but by enriching his spirit. I assure we would not leave any stone unturned in imparting human values like compassion, integrity, honesty and humility. We would take up special projects for the students to imbibe these values.

Our Secretary Says….
Diving into the depths of time and bringing fragment of YESTERDAY also
brings us to our Vision-To create institution where learning goes on and
where Career Begins...It takes me back to the year 12004… when we
planted a seed - Keshav Public Senior Secondary School, Dirba (Sangrur)-
an endeavour to pour creativity into School Education. We moved on and
today we are imparting Education to the youth of adjoining areas with
ultra modern facilities. All these years we have held steadfast to our
Vision- Teaching students to make not only a Living but LIFE. We believe
that learning is to be pursued not only for earning but also for a
passion for learning and dawning of knowledge.
We earnestly believe there is inherent potential in every student who
comes to us. He is endowed by the gifts of NATURE. Our job is to NURTURE
the inherent potentiality in him by turning it into actuality.
Here we aim at creating a LEARNING COMMUNITY where all Stakeholders- the
Management, the Faculty, the Parents and the Co-Curricular Activities,
thus making learning an enriching and fruitful experience.

From the Desk of Principal...........
Children are the most precious possession of any nation. They are the
seeds of the future. They have to be nurtured conscientiously. True
education helps the child to ignite the hidden sparks of excellence.
It is our duty as parents and educators, to train our children with the
spiritual power of empathy, love and reverence so that become upright
and universal citizens who have solid faith in moral values by adhering
to obligation, duty and selflessness. This knowledge liberates them in
emerging as successful persons with human virtues of tolerance,
brotherhood, humility, patriotism, rationalism, sensitivity to the
environment and deep concerns for the underprivileged.
At Keshav Public Senior Secondary School, Dirba (Sangrur) our
fundamental objective is the full development of every pupil - academic,
physical, cultural and spiritual. This goal is duly reflected in our
unique curriculum which is not only comprehensive nature, but also
enables holistic development.
In striving to achieve a balance between self-improvement and
self-sacrifice in the interests of others, KPS develops in the pupils
qualities of skill and care. The pupils are educated in concepts and
practice of service to the needy. There is an active concern for the
environment, and in tackling environmental problems. We are committed to
train the appreciation of physical health and moral fortitude through
the challenge and adventure of outdoor pursuits.
Education in the value of democracy is essential in KPS.
Self-discipline, responsibility, freedom of thought and speech are
encouraged as students learn to appreciate the value of cultures,
languages and religions other than their own and see themselves as
genuinely international citizens.
